Steve joined BSRI’s Board of Directors in late 2021. He says the best part of being a member is the opportunity to extend help to seniors in need.

Steve began adulthood serving in the military and led an Infantry Platoon in Vietnam. After returning from Vietnam, he studied in Germany and Mexico, and learned to speak German and Spanish. He also speaks Italian as his parents are Sicilian Immigrants. Being well-traveled and multilingual greatly benefitted Steve in his career as a Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon. He considers the ability to to speak multiple languages and perform surgery his greatest accomplishments in life.

Since retirement, Steve enjoys spending time with his family. His wife Davina, two children, and three grandchildren fill his days with joy. Steve also loves reading, oil painting, volunteering at his Church, studying languages, and staying active in his free-time.
