What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is a global movement of generosity, held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving — a day when communities around the world come together to do good and give back.
This year, Giving Tuesday falls on December 2, 2025, but BSRI’s campaign launches on November 10 and runs through the end of December — giving our community more time to make a lasting impact.
Building a Safety Net for Seniors
Last year, thanks to the generosity of people like you, BSRI raised $12,324 on Giving Tuesday. Those funds helped seniors recover after the September 2024 storms — providing emergency relief, safe shelter, and the reassurance that their community would not let them face hardship alone.
This year, we’re asking you to join us again with a simple but powerful act:
Donate the equivalent of one hour of your wages — or one hour of your time — to BSRI’s Crisis Fund.
Your “one hour” will help us reach our $25,000 goal, providing emergency aid for seniors facing natural disasters, homelessness, urgent in-home needs, and other unexpected crises.
